I recently purchased a 2005 rl acura.Last week the a/c went out and I took it to the shop and the mechanic who diagnosed it said the a/c clutch coil was bad and it would cost 3,000 dollars.He said he would have to take the engine out to get to the a/c compressor coil.Does that sound right?I had a compressor put on my civic a couple of years ago and it cost a fraction of that.Thoughts?

Help!? I don't know what's wrong with my dog!!?

My dog is 4 yrs old. But I have no clue whats wrong with him. He wont eat. He won't drink. Unless ou force him!! He's been like this for a couple weeks now. And well we took him to the vets. And the guy said he's a mean dog. But he had (i guess) what's called a worm inside him. And the vet gave us medicine where we gave it to my dog. And he got somewhat better, but like I don't know why to do. What is wrong with my brakes? Is it the ABS?

I have a 1997 Acura RL, Just last week, when gently braking, the pedal "releases" for a moment and I hear a motor of some kind engage. This only lasts a moment and the brake "takes hold" again. I bought the car on a very limited budget, and I don't have much to repair issues. The ABS light, TCS light and Check Engine lights have been on since I bought it a year ago. The pads and rotors are fine, as is the brake fluid level. What on earth is this?! If it's simply the ABS, can't I pull the fuse and just drive the car w/o the ABS system? Problem With 1998 3.5 rl Acura?

I bought a 1998 Acura 3.5 rl has no key i went to the Honda dealer I was told that i had to buy a set of keys unscheduled contoller and a lock that controls the codes of the keys, the Price is $309, plus a hour of labor time to schedule and to cut the keys, red, gray and black. My question is there some kind of form that starts the engine by another key. I called the lock smith he came to try to start the car with a key that he made according to the cars model but it didn't grab the code, The lock smith reviewed his book and said ''this type of car is a class 1 it doesn't get the code until you replace the lock module'' And I told him it was the same thing the dealer told me that I had to buy a red key, a black key and gray key and the lock module control.Is there someone with the same problem that could help me? Well yesterday morning I woke up at about 6 and I had this excrutiating pain under my left breast in the top of my ribs. The ER told me that it sounded like I could have possibly had a blood clot or inflammation. They gave me an EKG which was normal, then said they wanted to check my blood for a blood clot and I freaked out and refused cause I'm scared of bad news AND the pain went away. Since the pain went away and I was extremely gassy (and still are for some reason) do you think the pain was linked to gas? Does it sound like the pain was due to a blood clot??

Ha ha - NO!! The closest I got to that was a friend from Second Life came to visit me in real life and as we went from one pub to another, we started trying to imitate out avatars AO moves and walks. I can tell you now, trying to walk the default avatar duck-walk is not only funny, but it hurts your calf muscles. After realising how stupid we looked trying to do our avatars stand poses, we briefly tried to dance like our avatars, but that's hard to do when you're laughing so much it hurts. No, it's not. I have a boyfriend (admittedly in his 50s, but thinks he's 16) that has a bigger Infinity than that, but it has a lot of get up and go, and he wouldn't drive it if it weren't a sporty car, He's in a perpetual mid-life crisis. I've driven it, and it's got a lot of power - he's got a 6. Fun car too, because it can be an automatic OR a manual. This helps if you live or work in DC like we do because then you throw it in automatic when you're in traffic, but on the open road, he always drives it in manual. Not bad on gas mileage either - he lives in southern Maryland and drives 140 miles round trip every day, Needs more TLC and maintenance though, than say, a Honda or a Toyota. Looks good too - he always gets the silver ones with black leather interior because he thinks it's sportier that way, but I like some of the other colors better.

Oh, get the Honda. You will be happy because of its reliability. I love Mini Coopers, but I think they're basically BMWs, and as such, must be serviced regularly. If I had to make that choice, I'd take the Honda - with an automatic. You won't have to do very much work on it at all, except for oil changes - I just spent $2,500 on my Toyota, which isn't even worth that much, but it now runs like a top. I have a trek 3700 mountain bike, i think its a 2008 model cant remember though, i wanna upgrade my forks, will a fox fork fit on it. I know trek 3700 mtb isnt the best mountain bike out there but im really comfortable on it, i go fast on it, i keep up with guys that say there bikes cost any wheres from 1 to 4 thousand dollars. The stock forks on the bike arent that great they seem kinda stiff even when i try to adjust them, only up side to them is they seem light. just want the forts for better suspension clearance, and for up hill climbs. it cost $299 kinda pricey though. or should i upgrade to a better bike (that comes with really good forks)?

I don't know if it's just because of where I live, but practically everybody I know is religious to some extent. I don't understand this! It is sooo easy to see all the fallacies in religion. How to help oily skin?

In the summer holidays, I'd like to be able to wear no make-up at all for 8 weeks to help my skin clear up. However, my skin is sooo oily, no matter how many times I wash my face, it's still oily. It makes me breakout in blackheads AND spots. I wear moisturizer and foundation 6 days a week too, usually giving my face a break on Sundays because I don't go anywhere. I drink at least 2 litres of water every day, and my skin looks clear whenever I wear foundation, but when I don't, my skin is oily, red and spotty. Why is marriage important?

Well, when I got married I believed marriage was the ultimate way of saying you are mine and I am yours and nothing can ever come between us, but to be honest the benefits never came to mind. Many times the fact that I was married prevented me from getting benefits like food stamps and school grants because they looked at my husbands income. Back handspring help?

sooo since i was like 8 all my coaches have been saying that i can do a backhandspring by myself. and i would do them in the gym if my coaches would put their arm out- i wouldnt even need a spot but i refused to do it by myself. Now, im 14, have quit gymnastics and still cant do a backhandspring. i went for tumbling classes last week and within the first 15 minutes of doing backhandsprings, the coach asked if i could do them by myself. i KNOW that i can, but why wont i?

So, as you guys can tell in my picture, i have very short hair. I tried growing it out, because i used to have long hair and i mean it looked good, but my hair grows sooo slow once it gets to my shoulders and I just despise that awkward length, so im keeping my hair short for awhile. Well yesterday morning I woke up at about 6 and I had this excrutiating pain under my left breast in the top of my ribs. I thought it was just gas but the pain hurt sooo bad and felt like it was going up by my heart and my shoulder. I was also extremely and oddly gassy the whole day yesterday. The ER told me that it sounded like I could have possibly had a blood clot or inflammation. They gave me an EKG which was normal, then said they wanted to check my blood for a blood clot and I freaked out and refused cause I'm scared of bad news AND the pain went away. Since the pain went away and I was extremely gassy (and still are for some reason) do you think the pain was linked to gas? Does it sound like the pain was due to a blood clot?? I'm also 21.

Speech problem needs to be fixed!?

I had a similiar problem. I was able to visit a speech therepist every other week for six weeks (totalling 3 visits). They were able to give me exercises and feedback to correct the problem. I still speak that sound more slowly than others but at least I can say it now. Accessing a speech therapist depends on your insurance.

Sooo pre-season soccer is coming up in three weeks and our coach told us to get in shape before that time. How do I avoid negativity when I felt judged on a date?

I went out with an guy who I thought was such a gentleman, classy, and genuine. The first time we met we get along sooo well, it was "to natural".During dinner, it felt like a freakin job interview. I know you're supposed to get to know each other but dang, I wasn't expecting to get asked all these "wifey" questions and get judged on it. I am who I am and will not apologize for it but the whole time, he made it seem like my answers weren't "good enough" or not what he was looking for. I'm a lady, good girl, friendly/easygoing, gets along w. everyone. I'm not your average woman, I'm me. And here's this guy, asking, "do you get along w. your co-workers? are you an angry person?" WTH?! I appreciate honest/straight forward people but really? Even if I did give him "answers" he was looking for, you're not really gonna get these answers unless you back it up with experience and observation. It's like "oh she didn't give me the answers I wanted, that saved me such heartache." He just made me feel like I wasn't "good enough" and came across as judgmental and it's like he kept asking questions to make sure he didn't get hurt. Like, "if i get these answers, i'll know if she'll screw me over or not..." He never called. Maybe it's a blessing. It's been a while and in my head, any respectable person would not want to be w. someone so judgmental and have a "job interview" experience but I can't help but be a bit traumatized by it still. I think it's because I didn't go through the motions; I avoided feeling rejection bc I was afraid it would make me feel worse and lead me on a path of self-wallowing and self pity. (I USED to be like that before and took rejection badly but for the past 2 yrs, I've been surprisingly better about it). All I know is that I'm a busy gal and I don't like people being indecisive and wasting my time. I'm just tired of guys who are so interested but never completely pursue me all the way...i deserve better... He expected me to literally be this "perfect" girl...
