Do you think child modeling is as bad as beauty pageants?

I was just having this discussion with someone that told me my 8 month old should model. I totally don't think it's the same thing. Some catalog modeling as a baby to get some money into her college fund? That sounds perfectly reasonable. Spray tanning, $3000 dollar dresses and false teeth? Not a chance in hell.
