Should i just forget about him ?

so theres this guys & i like very much . so last two weeks of school, things happened. he asked for my number, hanged out a couple of times , last day of school he gave me a hug . but the thing is its been like almost a month since ive seen him :( i really wanna talk to him but if he wanted to talk to me he would text me right? because he has my number ..im just confused i would move on from this boy but i like him sooo much. im just scared because maybe he'll just forget all of those things that happened between us during the last two weeks of school . those meant a lot to me , and im gonna be so sad the next time i see him and he ignores me.. should i text him or should i just wait :( do you think he likes me.. or just nothing.. i need advices .. PLEASE
