How can feminism help men to evolve?

This brand of feminism does nothing but perpetuate sexual discrimination. It puts men and women on opposite sides of the battlefield when in reality everyone, men and women, should be on the same team. All people, regardless of gender, race, religion, etc., are worthy of respect. Jilly Cooper's comment is pointedly disrespectful to an entire segment of society, and as a woman I find this attitude to be repulsive.
