Yamaha receiver//subwoofer?

Receivers are normally set up for using powered subwoofers which are connected via RCA cables. You can cheat and connect your sub to a speaker connect that you're not using, but it won't get the right signal. To do it right you to need a separate amp for your sub or a new sub that is powered.
