Why does Ralph Lauren charge $1,500 for leather jackets that are made in China?

Greed; He wants to make a lot of money and live the famous lifestyle he's living. I shop around. His leather jackets are no better than those in Leather-world that are half the price. So he does it because he can get away with it and people buy stuff with a name just to flaunt it. tsk...tsk..
